APNSA inland travel fellowship awards 2024
- APNSA is inviting applications from the eligible members for APNSA inland travel fellowship awards for the
year 2023-2024 to encourage young practioners
- APNSA is awarding two travel fellowship awards to the eligible candidates for the year 2023-2024 ( considering Neurocon to Neurocon as one academic year), one each from Neurology and Neuro surgery.
- The forthcoming travel proposals/ details of fellowship (if already finished ) shall be submitted to the academic committee through the Secretary,APNSA before 30th April 2024. After screening and approval the awardee will receive an amount of Rs. 50,000/-.
- Our screening committee is going to finalize the best out of the proposed nominations and the award money will be handed over to the eligible applicants on 21st July, during Valedictory function of APNEUROCON 2024 , at Guntur
Guidelines for the Travel fellowship :
- Applicant should be a life member of APNSA and with an age of below 40 year
- Only inland fellowship permitted
Duration of Travel period is of 15 days to 1 month
- For Neurosurgeons : interventional radiology, Epilepsy surgery, DBS training, minimally invasive surgery, Stereotaxy specializations etc.
For Neurology : interventional radiology, stroke management,etc
- Content of travel fellowship should enhance/Support/contribute the members learning activity/ for the edification of their academics/skills.
- They should present the zist of their learning experience to the scientific committee if the committee demands
- There is no limit for the number of nominations / proposals from Neurology and Neuro Surgery. APNSA Academic screening committee will concise them and judge and finalize
- This award will be provided to the members only once in their life tim
- Academic screening committees decision is the final decision. No other person /firm has right to contradict the final judgement. Committee decision cannot be challenged by any means.
- If nominations /proposals with expected quality/ standard expectations of committee were not received , the award will be cancelled for that year
- Last date for submission of nominations is 30th April 2024.
